Comprehensive Eye Exams for Adults

When it comes to seeing the world, we don’t want you to miss a thing! When you have your eyes examined at Lymer Vision, we perform a detailed, comprehensive eye health, and vision examination.

Using the Lymer Vision Tenets of Eye Care, we cover all the basis when it comes to ensuring the outcome of your eye examination meets your specific needs.

Comprehensive Eye Exams for Children

A child’s eyes are their windows to world. Did you know that between 70% and 80% of what your child learns at home and in school comes through their eyes, through seeing? What and how they see today will impact who and what they will become later in life. To ensure your child’s world is as clear as it can be we will evaluate multiple aspects of their visual system and eye health. These tests include test depth perception, eye muscle alignment, color vision, eye health, visual acuity, and much more.

Plus we make it fun! It can be a scary thing going to the doctor – we know, we are parents too! And that’s why we take the time to make sure your child has the best possible experience when it comes to getting their eye exam and vision corrected

Vision Evaluations

We evaluate for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia, as well as focusing issues related to the lens of the eyes.

Ocular Disease Evaluation

The eyes are not only the windows to the world; they are the windows to your health. Conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and other systemic conditions can affect the health of the eye and how well you see. We also evaluate for eye disease conditions like glaucoma, age related macular degeneration, retinal disorders, and cataracts.

Cataract Evaluation

We do an extensive analysis to see if you have cataracts and how they may be affecting your vision. Most common symptoms include difficulty seeing at night, primarily due to the glare from oncoming cars, especially on a rainy or foggy night. We will also make recommendations on how to minimize their impact and if they need to be removed to restore clear vision.
